Ianwoollam
Does that mouse in front of your iBook use the iBook's built-in Bluetoooth? & What mouse is it? Cheers, Daniel. Yeah its the Logitech MX900, tis connected to the iBook via Bluetooth :) Came with my DiNovo but I decided to get a new mouse for my PC and use that for the laptop :) lol! Problem is I have virtually no space left for any more dvds! Gonna have to build more shelves! :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/97/#findComment-587428519 Share on other sites
xodlike
Heres my full setup! (Sorry for the Windows PC in the pic, I didnt want to go behind my monitor to hook up the MBP cable...) What you see is a 2.0GHz/1GB/Radeon X1600 Mac Book Pro, with a Logitech MX510 mouse. It's also blue-toothing to my Motorola V710 seen by the Dell FP1808 display. My PC isnt anything special, 3GHz P4/1.5GB RAM/Geforce 6800. Also, some generic Logitech speakers which are most used by streaming music from the MBP. Logitech MX518 Mouse. The MacBook Pro is a MAJOR advancement! An iPod for completeness, and my Apple Remote is under the monitor, is its visible. Towards the left, lies my Canon printer, a stack of 100 CD-R's and DVD-R's, an Linksys WRT54GX2 Router, and hiding is a RCA Cable modem given to me by comcast. Go 15mbit! PS - Go KeR for making the Super Metroid HD Wall! I love it man! sihr
I've had this conversation with a friend a couple of days ago... with the new specs i'm expecting the new macbook to go into the 1500? range, and that's too expensive for me. The ibook does what i want it to do, i'll leave the power-tasks for my deskto:p:p Edited April 27, 2006 by sihr Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/97/#findComment-587454998 Share on other sites

The ibook does what i want it to do, i'll leave the power-tasks for my deskto:p:p Going by recent price trends, the macbook will launch at the same price or very close to the current model, you will be shooting yourself in a month or two when the new ones are released Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/97/#findComment-587457857 Share on other sites
sihr
The ibook suits my needs/tastes perfectly, and i don't like the idead of spending that much money in rev. a hardware. I know the laptop will be obsolete within a year or two, but if it does last that much i think i got my money well payed :p So can anyone help me with this foolish request? thanks again Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/97/#findComment-587464165 Share on other sites
