Amnesia
my walls are actually red, a deep red. I think the lights made the contrast turn a bit orange. JR007
IKEA. It's called JERKER. Thanks for the information. Btw, did you not install the top shelf part or what? Just wondering, b/c the version I looked at had a top shelf as well. Did you cut that section off? saxondale.
The one of the website looks nothing like my one. You see it shows the table curves in, well it doesnt, no shelf. That could be an old model, so i think i have a new revision of it. Oblivion.
Thanks for the information. Btw, did you not install the top shelf part or what? Just wondering, b/c the version I looked at had a top shelf as well. Did you cut that section off? There's 2 versions of the Jerker, one version is the one you're describing, not as wide, a curve in the middle and bars that go up each side for shelves (the computer desk), and then there's the standard jerker desk that saxondale's got. I went to Ikea to buy myself one, and decided it looked like an absolute rip-off *gets ready for a flaming*, in the end I purchased a table top (around the same size as the jerker), 4 legs and a keyboard shelf for around half the price of a jerker, and IMO it looks a lot better (beefier) :p. deepfriedmario
@deepfried mario. Doesn't your macbook overheat with it on and shut? Oops... Sorry about the delayed reply. It didn't overheat from my short time using it like that. I now use the MacBook keyboard instead of the wireless because the Option key is stuck meaning I wasn't able to type properly (it'd just come up with symbols). MonkeyClaw Veteran Posted November 9, 2006 Veteran Share Posted November 9, 2006 Sax I'm intrigued by that set up, how does that work for you having the iMac behind the MacBook Pro like that? Or did you just do that for the picture :p Regardless if by accident or not, it looks like it could have some productivity advantages. It helps if i want to transfer large data between the two, or change which Mac i want to use my MIDI keyboard on without moving anything apart from a USB cable. I also can use my iMac for music and work on my MBP if i want to save battery, anything like that. Also, it looks nice :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/109/#findComment-588032028 Share on other sites
