Your Mac Hardware Setup

It's a nice keyboard. Works well. (Y) Kinda miss the delete button from my wired one though, but that's about it. Not having a numpad isn't as big of a deal as I thought it would be.

Yeah I am not much in a need of a numpad anyway...

How is battery life and how do the keys feel when typing?

This the setup for the weekend, should be getting the Dell UltraSharp 2009W and a new mouse as I hate the Mighty Mouse with a passion, the Logitech MX Revolution.

Also need to put some pictures on the wall and shelves.

Nay, it's a black MacBook :D

What happened to your trackpad?

I got a trackpad sticker as I didn't like seeing it with wear/smug/grease all over it. As I do a bit of traveling with it, it has a habit of picking up the local area.

I feel like I'm going crazy but I think I remember seeing a picture of someone's desktop where they had their iphone sitting on their desk in the dock and it showed the time. It's like they were using it as a standalone clock. What app did they use? I can't seem to find the picture in this thread.

I just bought a new MacBook Pro to replace my aging MacBook (which didn't even have a Core 2 Duo processor, kinda restricting when you're an engineer, lol)

15.4 inch MacBook Pro

2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

4 GB of DDR3 RAM

NVIDIA 9400M

NVIDIA 9600M GT

I think I'm in love. Pictures of me licking it will follow shortly ;)

EDIT: I just realized that this is a Mac Desktop thread. Sorry folks. I think I might be a little too excited right now.

Just got a nice little addition to my home network today. Needs a bit more RAM, but otherwise I already love this thing :)

Man I hope your wireless router is secured with a password, standing in the window like that. If not, your neighbors love you! Free Internets! :woot:

Actually that room is near the center of the house. The family room is on the other side of the window. I'm not sure what the people who built the house were thinking when they wanted a big hole in the wall between the kitchen and family room :p

But it seemed like the best place to put a wireless router, so it kinda just sits there now. And yes, it's running WPA2.
