Martog
Yeah, the iCurve is very nice! The laptop does not move at all on the stand. I recommend it for anyone with an iBook or PowerBook, would probably work on pc laptops too :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/50/#findComment-585566509 Share on other sites

I have a printer and scanner but connected to another computer. As for other people you could check out the spymac gallery? The first revision will probably have horrible heat problems, that they'll probably fix in the second revision. .....
Some of us are happy to have them stick with a G4. I don't think heat is the only reason they've not got G5s in them. The 1.5GHz G4 in that Powerbook is pretty much neck-and-neck with the 1.8GHz iMac G5, but remember the newer Powerbooks are ~12% faster. Of course the G4 isn't faster in all tasks, but when you take the extra 12% into account, they're usually about the same if they're not faster. I've definitely noticed a slight speed increase over my iMac G5 in Photoshop. (which is the main app I use on my Mac) Edited March 5, 2005 by andrewfee Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/50/#findComment-585573717 Share on other sites
macman87
A G5 Powerbook isn't for the speed. I am sure many of us are dying to see a major form factor change for the Powerbook, not just a 'faster' processor. Apple said themselves a G5 runs better with 2 processors. Okay, Heres my iMac. I am selling this baby off. If you are in Australia, and want an iMac or know someone who does, PM me ;) Its a 15" model.
