Who tested God

Recommended Posts

I honestly, this is my opinion and my thoughts and my actions.

I do not respect christians simply because they waste there time going to church etc etc when they could go and do some thing in the community and be creative instead of going into some old building and talking about it for hours. When they could be out doing community work like helping the poor and the homeless.

thought process of BOOGMaster? <man...I wonder if I should get involved in this. I am a Biblical Theology major, after all, but still, do I want to attract flames??? some of the posts in this thread are nonsense nonetheless...>

Alrighty...Lucifer, an angel sent down from heaven because of his lust of God tested Jesus (1/3 of the Trinity - 3 in One) in the human form of a snake.

Does that help?

Mass takes 45 minutes on Sunday. It takes up to an hour and fifteen minutes on C&E but other than that it takes 45 minutes. There's still time to help the needy.

I think i remember it says in the Bible NOT to test GOD....

as you will probablly see that he will not do things for you to prove his existance....unless of course he wants you to do something, and test your faith/whatnot for his plans...

Anotherwords telling GOD to prove he exist by saving you from jumping off a cliff will not work and you will go splat....or Giblified....

I honestly don't beleive in god.

My mother looks after a old lady who is paralysed.

What has god done for the old lady? She sits in bed every day, wishing she could walk like every one else.

She has been christian for the whole of her life and god has not done a thing.

Explain this, all you god lovers.

I'm sure there are also deeply religious people that are blind, deaf, have no arms/legs, have cancer/aids, etc.

Just because you believe in God does not mean he is going to stop all things bad from happening to you.

My Grandma was extremely religious, and she died of cancer. I don't think she blames it on God, or expects God to have magically made it go away.

****ty things are going to happen to you in life, it's inevitable. As for the old lady that is paralyzed, I'm sure there are plenty of good things she still has in her life, whether she appreciates/notices them or not. Think of it like this, at least God made it so there is your mother to take care of her, as opposed to noone, or a nurse that doesn't give a crap about her one way or another.

good call kennyout...

Yes, we shouldn't TEST God, but the Bible says nothing about asking questions of Him.
