Windows Konfabulator Alternative

Good morning to all,

For those who do not own a Mac, there is a popular program called Konfabulator which allows small programs to run on the desktop called widgets.

This program was specialized only for the Macs. Well, there is now a Windows alternative called Kapsules - very cool application which is free. You can find it at http://kapsules.shellscape.org/

Seen before, I had problems when loading most plugins. Samurize is the best for Windows I think.

There is a new version out and most of the plug-ins or widgets I have added seem to work seemlessly for me.

I too have tried Samurize but found it not to user-friendly. Then again that was some time ago, I could try it again. For now this will be the application of choice or just turn on my Mac.

yea, welcome to last week. after samurize etc. kapsules is really a good program which is easy to use.

As for the memory print, mine is well below 7mb but that doesn't account for the fact, my system has been running for over 24 hours and I have added other widgets to the formula.

For those that responded I appreciate your comments. Since I don't make it a habit to post that much, I thought the community would like to know about something I found interesting.
