Yes it should. Not the best performance but good enough. We should make some sorta "official minimum specs for doom 3" post. Cause everybody is asking. ;)

you got the same specs as me dude.

So im praying itll run sweet on ur PC ;)

i have a little less then you got, but mroe memory, so it should run the same if not better then me

wheres the screenies of when fighting against the bad guys?

i have some, will post in a bit

i get average of 30- 40 frames, which imho is playable, at 1280X1024 rez High Qual, didnt turn any FSAA or AA, cause at 30-40 it would bring it to low for me personally. here are screens, some says 14-30 fps, remember when screenshoted the game pauses for a breif second so it can wrote the SS, but belive me, the frames stay within the 30-40 FPS

The Turkey Punch game int eh Cafateria, anythign look familiar about it, and yes it does keep score, i quit when i got past 3K points

another

Aim is off as i am trying to shoot, move and hit the F12 key at same time, later on i just said screw moving ill replay where i started the SS session.

Dont know why i took this one, but its a prime example of how dark this game is, gamma is on default setting, flashlight is a required tool.

dont you hate it when you acidentally dry your face off with steel wool

Another note, the shotgun as a fire rate of 2 seconds (about) also it only holds 8 shells, and at range is poor.(duh)

In this screen there is a little arachnid robot thingy that is high recomended to follow (it faries a gun in its nose and autoargets everything but you. in this pic the robot thingy is below my ret, it took on a imp, pointblank, and won, after it took on 2 others.prolly scripted but i dotn care, i dotn want to face this, it basically looks like those upside down skull spiders wev seen in official screens. and they red part of the imp, that is where its disintagrating to ash (posted earlier on how the engine handles dead corpses that you make dead, anything lower then shotgun does not do this)

hell yeah

good job ID!!!!

Lol, I just looked up what that copyright protection is because I never heard of it before and this is what I found: Link.

Users in our forums have grown increasingly irritated with a new copy protection system dubbed Starforce. While stopping software piracy is the scheme's goal, the system instead causes system slowdowns, PC instability, device conflicts, is nearly impossible to remove manually, and remains long after you've uninstalled the software it came with.

Users report that the software gobbles up computing cycles, slows CD drive read-times, creates CD-R read errors even after removal, and is responsible for a number of device conflicts - particularly with external USB drives. Users who have tried to remove the product manually have often damaged their systems to the point of needing a fresh OS install.

That is freaking hilarious and genious at the same time.

that bull ****

all the people complaying are warez monkeys

i have 4 starforce protected games, and zero problems

they just keep bitching because its a protection that actully works, and it will get even better in next version.

To the people waiting for it to leak....

Just be prepared to wait a while....

Id used StarForce 3 Protection on this baby :D

SO JUST BUY THIS GAME

4 years in the making, presently im trying to find some extra money so I can buy it on mon.

i dont mind buying it but if what i have read is true concerning a slower performance on my CD or DVD roms then im  about it. i got no problem with id doing what they can to protect their product, but the protections scheme shouldnt cause my drive NOT to perform as the manufacturer intended. i guess i will have to bite the bullet and see what happens as i AM getting this game.

christracy

all this about starforce is bull****

StarForce Professional 3.0 is a powerful multi-level CD-ROM, DVD-ROM copy protection system designed for developers and publishers who wish to protect their applications and files against professional software piracy.

Most modern copy protection systems today encrypt only the applications' executable files and then bind them in some way to the licensed discs. StarForce Professional 3.0 is the first system that offers a multi-level and fully-functional protection, which encrypts not only the executable files, but also non-executable files included in the application. With this product, you, the developer, have a unique ability to protect your localized games, edutainment / educational software, encyclopedias, and office applications.

The research conducted by StarForce Technologies' specialists reveals that in most cases the pirate releases are prepared by swapping the protected executable files of one localized version with the unprotected executables of another localized version released in a different country or even with the executables coming from one of the cracked versions.
