Turbonium Posted August 1, 2004 Share Posted August 1, 2004 i dont play games at less than 1600x1200 lol any res under is lame :pguess i gotta upgrade finally I play at 1280x1024. 1600x1200 is just too much for my graphics card (Radeon 9600 Pro). tbh, if you want smooth frame rates at max quality with any modern game, I don't think it's possible with any graphics card at 1600x1200. I mean, my pre-order copy (via Amazon) won't be coming in until Wednesday or Thursday, I want to play it now dammit. Add that to the fact that I have a deadline on Friday, I kind of want to be able to play through the game at a semi-leisurely pace; as opposed to pulling an all-nighter where I'm dead most of the time, just finishing the game for work. Plus, how can you NOT buy Doom 3? I mean, for ****'s sake, IT'S DOOM 3.
