MagicMan
That my friend is, unfortunatley, a faulty graphics card. Just to double check - if possible, try another AGP card but I'd say that it looks as if the card is toast :( Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/201133-help-corrupt-gfx-radeon-9700-pro-ss-included/#findComment-584327946 Share on other sites
ady
hey, i tired another gfx card a geforce 2 64mb worked fine, i ordered it from dabs.com where it is under warranty but not an instant return one so i now have the hassle of returning it and waiting probably half a year or something stupid for the return. shame cuz it was my 16th b'day present and i only 16 so dont have the money to just buy a new one. well i best get returning it. :( Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/201133-help-corrupt-gfx-radeon-9700-pro-ss-included/#findComment-584328073 Share on other sites
S.MULLA
do get that when ur in the bios and windows loading? if u do then switch off your pc and then switch it back on and it will be gone. if its just windows then its gonna be drivers. i had that happen to my 9700pro and i just switched my pc off for 30secs and switched it back on. and it worked fine. ady
hey, yes it happens in dos aswell, switching my pc off for around 5 mins solves the problem but then after a bit the problem comes straight back, i have tried about every compatible radeon driver made and all have the same effect, but sometimes problem originates in DOS or BIOS aswell so i am thinking it is more hardware rather then software.
