You forgot "Ignore all the facts about Yang's missed 0.20 point deduction for doing that 4th hold on the parallel bars."

U.S. coaches and NBC commentator Tim Daggett have said the videotape review also showed a .20 deduction in Yang's routine that would have negated the start-value increase.
Plus there's the nasty fact that if Yang's parallel bar routine is subjected to the same videotape analysis that discovered the incorrect starting score, it reveals that he made four holds on the bar rather than three, a mandatory .20 deduction that was also missed by the judges. Shouldn't we take that out too if we're being "fair," which would snatch Yang's gold right back and give it to Hamm once more?
If video review shows the guy is entitled to .10 for the starting value mistake - then give it to him. But if video review also shows the guy should have been docked .20 for the hold violation, then take that from him.
After further review of Yang?s parallel bar routine it has been determined there should have been an additional .20 of a point deduction on top of the already .18 of a point deduction for exceeding the number of holds that are allowed during the parallel bars competition. (Only three holds are allowed and Yang performed four.) This carries a .20 of a point deduction.

If we are going to go back in time and reevaluate Yang?s parallel bars routine and credit him with a .10 of a point then we must also deduct a .20 of a point for performing to many holAfter all, you can?t have your cake and eat it too. If these changes were implemented Yang would lose .10 of a point leaving him in third place and lowering his all around score from 57.774 to 57.67474.

"Judges are going to miss things," U.S. men?s gymnastic coach Miles Avery said. "Yeah, they made a bad call. He should have started with a 10.0." Avery went on to add, ?[the judges] made another mistake when they missed (Yang) having four holds" on the bar, which carries a 0.2 of a point dedYang and the South Korean?s protesting the scoring system should be happy the judges left the scores alone or they could be worse off.rse off.

There really is no sense in even considering to debate the other side here....
