jerry
India v Pakistan 21 August Pakistan win by 66 runs Man of the Match: Shoaib Malik (68 runs, 3 wickets) Bonus Point for Pakistan I think India is now virtually out of the Holland Cup. Australia still the favorites to win. Pakistan still the underdog but seems to be improving under Bob Woolmer. What are your thoughts ? Their real test comes now in ICC Champions Trophy coming up in a couple of weeks. ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/206886-cricket-holland-cup/#findComment-584411991 Share on other sites
Johnston
yea i know thats true, id like to see them vs australia, the best team in the world... But our new captain has done a fantastic job, much better than hussain and flintoff is the most entertaining cricket player in the game Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/206886-cricket-holland-cup/#findComment-584412018 Share on other sites
jerry
But our new captain has done a fantastic job, much better than hussain and flintoff is the most entertaining cricket player in the game Vaughan is lucky to get Harmison, Jones, Flintoff at their peak of form. England now has some star performers. Previous england captains did not enjoy such luxury. And Vaughan being a captain is hampering his batting as he was one of the most prolific scorers a couple of years ago, now he's not. England will also face "the real" test during the next Ashes. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/206886-cricket-holland-cup/#findComment-584412041 Share on other sites
Devoto.
Yeah, Vaughan has been lucky with all these players finally performing on a regular basis. He has done a good job though but Nasser Hussain laid the foundation's over the past 4 years and Vaughan has simply built upon them.
