thats nice :)? would it be possible to still have an option for an even simpler download window?? eg: one without the graphics, and just basically the file, where its saving to, and pause/cancel buttons?

I'm currently working on Version 1.0 final... I'll create a new thread, when DM is done ;)

I've just finished the Download Overview window (how it looks like, you can see in the screenshot) The next, what I'm gonna do, is, continue to code the Download Manager engine ;) cYa tomorrow

:huh: When I made the concept for the download window it was bigger so the pictures where the right size, but now that you have scaled the windown down a bit the globe and the folder look way too big. Also I will be working on the Preferences menu today. When I'm done that I will retouch the main window. :)

yeah the globe and folder icons should probably be smaller. i think the best thing about this is that it looks so sleek, simple and stylish. so reducing the size of those icons would be taking another step in the right direction.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what should be added to the main window design in page 34, I'm kinda stuck and don't know what to add. :)

Note: I made the whole entire design of this program, so don't kill Rus if you don't like it, kill me :p Also any design suggestions should be adressed to me.

Cool :cool: now. For the compact window, fit everything into a box the size of your green image, and have it slide up from the bottom right side of your screen above the tray notification area when downloading something. Option to have it go away automatically or prompt to open file after d/l

:o I seee what you m:)n :) ... We could add it as an option (:pr :p, I gtg in a momEdit:: I'll look for a place in Preferences window where to locate the optioEdit2:: Oh c:pp :p ... I missunderstoo:blush:lush: hehe.. you see, the compact window, is the download overview, like when you download the file in IE, you also see the window. My question is: will it be skinnable? will I be able to change the user interface?

And I also want to know -- will it just manage my downloads or will it help accelerate the downloads too?

I have to know because I don't want to download before I know it's good. :p

Skinnable -- yea, you will be (you already are) able to replace the standard graphics :) That means, add your own Themes :p

Download Manager -- the 1st release will have the managing stuff in it, in the future, I'll add acceleration options, like segment download :)

Have fun using it :p (when it's done)

lol no i didnt mean for SS, i just meant in general...that looked like it would be nice to have like your current small download design at times...but other times something even more basic, like attached image...just nice and small and basic

Edit: I'm now reistalling windows... :( Cuz my nVidia driver freez my system.. I'Ve tryed couple of 'em (most versions were official) :( Sometimes I got also BSOD :/

But, you see, I've installed Windows about 3 times, and it steel keeps to give me a BSOD after I've got the ForceWare driver installed :/

But don't worry :p In the time, I'm reinstalling my Windows... I gave the DM skinning build to my friends :) (I'll credit 'em later ;))

So update:

- You'll have the choise to choose not only one skin (aka Standard) as the default, of course it's really easy to create an own one ;)
