I think it looks like crap to be honest.

You, see I have nothing against your opinion, and I think, it's good if you say it... But please, try to give me some arguments some points where I can make it betta, in fact, I see no sence in the post you did... Flamer.

Edit: You see, example, I don't need you NeoCleaner, cuz I have the control of my system, but I don't flame that is it useless or something.

Edit2: And still, if you think it's crap, people are/will be able to create their own skins.

I had a bit time yesterday, so I have updated the 'Create Download' window :).

It looks now more user-friendly, and instead of a message box which is being shown when an exception occurs, I've added a balloon tip. ;)

At the moment, I'm coding Librey ... hehe :)

Like in the screenshot above... Lets say, I forgot to enter a source address...

I'm working now tho :)

I have a problem calles 'Out Of Traffic' (I'm about over my 5GB traffic :( *sux*)

Oh, and Librey - related: I'm trying to transfer the BITS code to C#. So, probably Librey will use BITS, what I see as a better engine. ;)

only problem with that is BITS is that it is made to run 'in the background', which means it doesnt download as fast as it possibly can...i would assume people want stuff usually as fast as possible :)

I agree.

Can you believe Download Manager is almost a year old?

I've gotten to know you quite well over the past year Rus, and your coding is amazing and you have really great ideas.

You also know some VERY talented GUI designers. Each mockup/prototype of DM looks awesome. :)

However...

I think what the people here want (or at least some of them) from this project right now is a stable "basic" version to replace their existing bulky download managers.

By basic I mean the following features:

- add file/s to download queue

- pause and resume them

- view speed of downloads

Then they can use this in the meantime while you develop an amazing advanced version.

You've almost had this completed a couple of times but then you decide the whole thing needs to be rebuilt from scratch.

But I guess.... Rome wasn't built in a day.

Other members... your thoughts on this project?

I totally agree with that. That is what I am looking for in a Download Manager. I don't want some bloated thing like Download Accelerator Plus.

Yea rapidshare or megauploads are good places to host files :)

BTW I read the whole 42 pages in this thread :p took me around 45min but I did it! Although its been a long time, just wana say keep up the good work and look forward to seeing this wonderful program in action :)

@MCT: Thank ya.. Well, about torrents, I dont know, but I've got already hosting :) Thank ya anyway

@joenz: hehe :D Thank ya also for taking your time! And also thank you for your comment :)

@saxondale: internal betatester :ninja:

Well, testing it other 5 minutes, if all works fine. :D I'll create a new topic :)
