Hm.... I've thought something about following idea, if a user drag and drops a URL e.g. from IE explorer address bar, application recognize the http:// or ftp:// prefix, loads it in the combo box, and the other rest of the URL comes in the URL box... And in the Settings window, the user has the ability to select the default prefix... Here's a screenshot.

I guess, I'll remove for now the combo box... It's useless.

Edit: By the way, soon I'll release a new build.

Here's a little screenshot of a new "tool tip" which is called DownloadInformation. It'll be shown, when a user hovers the URL box, it will get the file informations from server, and automaticly dissapear after five seconds (after, the user will have the ability to change it, or even disable). This is a part of upcomming build. (By the way, this DownloadInformation tool tip will have working code (it has it already) to check in the screenshot showed parameters.) Here is a screenshot.

@aadhu: Thank you :)

@Strixes: :D Thank you :)

@Whitelighter: Thank you :D, "This one might just blow the commercial ones away." -- hm... :) yumm :p but it's not my target :p, the project was only as a replacement for the default IE download function... (Was designed for private use :p, now become public :))

Of course, by the way, if it is able to blow the commercial ones away... I'll be happy :devil: :p

Looks great.

Playing around with it.. The Tool tip is great but has bad placement. It's right over all the other options. Maybe below the save path or off to the side more.

The time it's shown too.. I think it should be shown until the user hits download instead of a time limit before going away.

Other than that.. the only problem is it wont download anything yet :p Keep up the good work!

Is it possible to implement a tooltip like the on you have in Shareza(or Ares P2P program)? where it shows lots of download information along with a graph that's literally real time showing the speed. It's also semi transparent. I can get a screenshot if you don't get what I mean.

@Soviet: I've changed the tool tip placement, you must hover over the (i) icon, and the tool tip will be shown. Second, the time, after the tool tip goes off is tooked off. You just need to move the mouse off the (i) icon, and the tool tip will disappear. And, btw, thanks fo your nice reply. :)

@Toxicfume: Since, I'm not using any P2P application, it would be nice, if you could provide a screenshot. :)

Here's a updated screenshot, to imagine, what I'm talking about...
