MSN Music preview launched

Just wondering if anyone could give a rough GMT release for WMP 10?

Also, just wondering if this will be available for download through the MS windows update, or through the Download center? Which is more likely?

Thanks

:D

I just purchased my first album: here's how it goes:

When you first purchase an album, you'll be taken to a page to confirm your CC number.

Next, you'll be asked to install their ActiveX control that downloads the music.

After that, I had to purchase the album again (it didnt start downloading).

You can see your download status on the Download Status page. The music is automatically added to your My Music folder and to your Library in WMP 10.

Very easy. Very nice. My bank account is so going down :p

UPDATE: Downloading songs after that is easy. On their website (don't even have to open WMP) just click on Buy, then click Confirm (you can turn of confirmations in your settings). Downloads add adds to your library. Mmmm...

Question for you iTunes people: What was Apple's policy if you were to buy three songs from an album, and then buy the entire album? Would you only pay the price of the album minus the three song's cost, or would you have to pay the whole price?

I hope MSN can come up with something like that. Sometimes I like a few songs, and then decide to get the entire album.

I dunno about ITunes, but I email the msn team with the same question. They said that you have to pay full price if you later decide that you want the album, regardless of how many songs you bought from the album.
