TruBD Posted September 1, 2004 Share Posted September 1, 2004 ok the cable dude just came in and setup my cable modem service from roadrunner the modem is a toshiba PCX2200 and i have a netgear Wireless Router MR814v2 when i hook up the cable modem directly to the computer it works fine, but when i hook it up to the router it doesnt, i have it set up to require no login and get IP from ISP and get DNS from ISP auto account name and domain name i left blank because i dont think those are required. any help would be appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
astrokat Posted September 1, 2004 Share Posted September 1, 2004 Unplug the power to the cable modem for about 20 seconds and then plug it back in. TruBD Posted September 1, 2004 Author Share Posted September 1, 2004 ok ive been testing my connection, but im getting horrible results i assume. when i go to dsl reports, i see people with test ranging above 2 megs when i did mine it ranged around ~300k, wtf is up with that?
