We're sorry that this isn't easier - unfortunately Apple refuses to allow other companies to integrate with the iPod's proprietary music format. If you are an iPod owner already and unhappy about this policy, you are welcome to send feedback to Apple requesting that they change their interoperability policy.

microsoft... smooth

well i like my alienware skin and don't wanna loose it when i upgrade:-p

i personaly know from experience the alienware skin works. I didnt like it and deleted it but it works none the less :D

Anyone know a way to uninstall this beta version?  I want to install the final release due tomorrow...

just use the musicnow loophole and install the final... now! instead of tommarrow ;)

I know its just being redirected. wait untill tomarrow and you will see the beta dissapear. as for some people they can get the icon and not the red x for some reason its supposed to be the butterfly ;) currently im affected by the red x too but im not sweating it im betting it will appear tomarrow. some have said if you clear your ie cache it will show up.

Oh and p.s. Its not a beta cream said so

The image is being downloaded from a site... If you temporarily disable your network connection it will not attempt to display it.

Wait til tommorrow, I'm sure it will be "fixed" by the idiot  that overlooked it.

As as aside, their are two png files in the temporary internet cache that appears to be the image that is supposed to be displayed where the red X is, but they cannot be opened using any program I have on my system (Photoshop CS, Fireworks, etc.). Files are:

msnlogo.png

msnsmall.png

I think one of these is supposed to be the image (seems both are corrupted).

Using 3646. Someone wanna tell me WTH this is about? Its there everytime I startup WMP:

a lot of people including me are having that issue it will be resolved tomarrow when msn music is public for now select another music service or ignore it.

Dunno that missing img file looks kinda wierd den. Also the commendable MS Paint work is prob what Microsoft uses to recognize their flaws. heh BTW>>>>>>When on Sept 2nd is the file coming out?????? Tryin to decide to goto sleep or dwnld.

LOL...U like my mad MS Paint skills man? I suck something awful, this I know. :D

Downloaded mine from there, and it is the real version. I'm not sure why they pulled it.

This link worked for me. Downloading now.

can wmp10 be uninstalled?

WMP10 RTM has the same two methods for rollback that WMP10 beta had - direct rollback via the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel (preferred method) or System Restore. WMP10 RTM contains a number of fixes for issues with the beta direct rollback system, so that should work fine now in all cases. Via either rollback or SysRestore, you should be taken directly back to the previous major version of WMP that you had installed (be it v8 or v9).
