WMP 10 is Released

Is there anyway to save the sort option for all playlists? I want it to sort by name everytime, and it doesn't seem to save permanently unless I save it as a playlist. Like for example, say I have 1-5 short video clips in a folder that aren't in a playlist, I highlight them and click enter and then they go to the playlist, but in the wrong order. It will go 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 instead of 1-5. How do I fix this permanently? I've been wanting to know how to do this forever. Winamp works right when it comes to this, but I like to use that just for music files. Besides this one little problem, I love WMP 10. I fixed the red x issue thanks to someone's post, so thanks for that. All I did was just load up those 3 images in IE, then it seemed to be fixed but I went a step further and did the Quicktime association for .png file also.

How do I uninstall WMP10? It's not in the Add/Remove Programs or Add/Remove Windows Components. WMP10 isn't playing a file that was playing just fine in WMP9!

Do a System Restore from a save point?

Edit: I like System Restore... no more red X and WMP9 is back!

Just do what someone posted. Load up IE, and then loads these images in it.

The red x problem should be fixed after that. It's fixed on mine now.

That's weird since it work for myself and others. You're making sure that WMP 10 is closed when you're doing this, right? Do you have Quicktime installed? We all do, so if by some chance you don't, maybe that's your problem.

Yes, WMP was closed, and I do have QuickTime installed.

Still doesn't work.  ;)

open WMP 10-->choose one online service other than MSN preview-->go to tools-->options-->privacy-->clear caches-->close WMP10-->go to IE options clear your IE temp files then click these links:

now open WMP10 and choose MSN preview.

Wow, I've been riding around town all day after I downloaded WMP 10. I havn't installed it yet but was going to as soon as got home from my spree.

Looking at all these posts, to be honest, I'm quite scared to install it!

It still isn't working. Am I supposed to save these png's or what? This is becoming very annoying.
