TechyClaire
Well at the moment i use Firefox, but after noticing how many downloads Opera had i decided to give it a go. Looks okay so far, maybe a little confusing at first, i can see why people call it the geeky boys browser ;) Anyways in Firefox i used the Adblock plugin to block adverts on websites. Does Opera have the equivilent? Also im thinking of getting Avant Broswer too as that seem to be one of the most popular ones, can i block adverts in that too? Thx lads Claire xx Edited September 30, 2004 by TechyClaire Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/212585-opera-adblocker/ Share on other sites
Chode
Yes it does....give me five minutes to dig it up... Opera Ad Filter I've never uses it myself, but it's meant to clone FireFox's adblcoking system. Though personally I prefer to recommend The Guide I Wrote Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/212585-opera-adblocker/#findComment-584486846 Share on other sites

DrZoidberg
WebWasher is another ad/pop-up/whatever blocker that works fantastically well with Opera. I've been using WW + Opera for years and it's been completely flawless in use. WebWasher is free for private use. It's the best ad-blocker that I've found. Chode
Some people swear by promximitron, though to be honest it is so complex that it kind of scares me.
