dL
My boot time sucks. Anyone know how to improve it? It just seem to get worse and worse. Is it because I never shut down (and rarely restart) my computer? dL Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/220190-your-fastest-boot-time/page/8/#findComment-587382539 Share on other sites

phot0nic
I'm confused. What do you guys mean by "boot time"? Because some of the times are REALLY low, and I have a feeling that different people mean different things with boot time. I have a fairly modern system, and it takes a good 45-50 seconds from pressing the power button until Windows is fully loaded and ready to go. I'm curious how some people are booting in 15 seconds and such. I mean, I defrag, I've used TuneXP, my computer is clean of malware, unneeded services and such are all disabled... All of which help, but not NEARLY enough to bring my boot time down to 10-15 seconds. Could the fast boot times be hardware related? What hardware makes for faster booting? What hardware slows booting down? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/220190-your-fastest-boot-time/page/8/#findComment-587388380 Share on other sites
