IceDogg
No. I want the bills to go 0-16, so Dallas gets the #1 pick next year. Wow, that would be kewl!! Con
neither. the bengals would be 1-1 if they had played any other team in the league last night. miami is just that much worse. The only thing good about Miami is their defense. Their offense sucks. (N) But, I like Carson Palmer. :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/220308-nfl-discussion/page/2/#findComment-584606240 Share on other sites

TDQuiksilver
neither. the bengals would be 1-1 if they had played any other team in the league last night. miami is just that much worse. ..and had the Falcons actually played a reputable team(s) they would not be 2-0 either. San Francisco is not exactly a power team, nor is St. Louis anymore. Hell, your next game is Arizona. TDQuiksilver
Because we are only going into Week 3 I cannot say much, but I really don't think the Rams will go anywhere this season. Marshall (in my opinion) just doesn't have it this year so holding him to X amount of yards really does not prove much. My team.. the Patriots.. one of the lowest running games last year and where did we end up? Exactly. A team can be horrible with or without a running game.. the passing game and defense also play a large role. To be honest I will keep on doubting. Vick is no doubt the one of the best quaterbacks in the league.. a lot of us can vouch for that.. BUT.. to solely bash another team's winning record because they play these "worse" teams doesn't say much when your team is doing the same exact thing. I cannot wait to see Atlanta play Carolina, Seattle, Denver, or even Oakland. Beating them will cancel most doubts, but it's going to take a lot more than Vick's running game to do that. L3thal Veteran Posted September 25, 2004 Veteran Share Posted September 25, 2004 Lets face it, Atlanta has harder games to come and they will lose quite a few of them. Patriots will end up losing as well before they break the record, so you both lose. TDQuiksilver
I'm not even claiming we'll break the record.. so back off. Contribute or get lost. On a side note, anybody notice how KC seemed to be a one year wonder last year? IceDogg
Wasn't Just last year. I'm not a big KC fan, but they did good offensively the year before too. So it wasn't just one year. Check your records again :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/220308-nfl-discussion/page/2/#findComment-584619293 Share on other sites
TDQuiksilver
I'm speaking more in reference of doing great, then diving into a big flop. They should have really beat Indianapolis in my opinion. oo420oo
KC's defense needs improvement. Maybe they can tighten the screws before the season ends up being a wash. New England will break that record. They find a way to win. Beating them will cancel most doubts, but it's going to take a lot more than Vick's running game to do that. thing is, its not like we barely beat the rams. it was a solid victory. and they may not be what they once were, but they are still going to be an above average team in the league. my point about cincinatti was that they didnt play well at all. palmer was nothing special, miami just played worse. i'll be fair, if atlanta was playing almost any other team than san francisco in week 1, we'd be 1-1 right now too. I fully expect us to put up a good showing against carolina and denver in the coming weeks. Oakland isnt until week 13 i think, and Seattle is the last game of the year, so its too early to talk about those. The bandwagon will continue to grow though. its funny how everyone in the media had forgotten about atlanta and suddenly theyre all back. As hip as it is to say the falcons are a one man team, they arent. special teams were awesome last week, and then dont forget about the brady smith sack/fumble/td, the huge aaron beasley INT - for the 2nd week in a row, jay feely is actually making his field goals so far.. not to mention, D'angelo Hall will be returning mid-season hopefully and mike jenkins, the other 1st round pick, has barely played. its a long season, and i cant wait to prove you wrong. :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/220308-nfl-discussion/page/2/#findComment-584619574 Share on other sites
L3thal Veteran Posted September 25, 2004 Veteran Share Posted September 25, 2004 They should have really beat Indianapolis in my opinion. When you don't force a team to punt the whole game, then you know your defense is atrocious. L3thal Veteran Posted September 26, 2004 Veteran Share Posted September 26, 2004 Of course he is. 5 TD's at the half, all he needs is two more in the span of 30 minutes. pimpshiznid
does any body think Manning is going to get the record of 7 TDs? He'd need to hit 8 to have the record. 7 is the record now, so, unless they injure Peyton, I'd say it's pretty damn likely he'll get 8.
