vjsz Posted September 24, 2004 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Well i have to say. i dont let this kind of stuff guide me...All the talked about , except the last 2 slides is Doom 3, (not a very Good game)..in D3d Ati owns most of the time, and they also support Geometry instancing.. So..after all...the are about the same.... And the SLI, its outrageous...by the time i get to save enough money for : A) 2 6800Ultra b) New Motherboard c) New processor.. There will be a new card(single Slot) that will be a lot faster than the SLI solution.. Doom3 is **** so they should use a diff game.. to compare cards in performance. I will still be buying the 6800GT with dual DVI but because its a good card and I want Dual DVI, I'm going to feel so dirty when I buy it now after seeing this.
