i saw this today and installed it, but when i get an email or when someone signs on, it wont play the right sounds, it plays my "default beep" sound instead. i looked in the Sound Properties in the control panel and all the sounds are set correctly. it wont uninstall either; at first it told me to exit messenger, so i did, but it gave me the same error. so i restarted my computer and tried again. but now when i try, uninstall wont start at all. does anyone have any ideas?

did you remove it from task manager (ctrl+alt+del)?

i figured it out. i had to have all explorer windows closed for some reason.

but theres something else that's been bothering me. when i get mail or when someone signs on, the little box doesnt pop up telling me who the mail is from or who just came on. is there some way to fix that?
