Perfect!!

Herby, these totally rule, and I feel are way more functional than say, AveDesk icons.

:D & they need no App running in the background...

I have to say that this is the best damn thing I have ever seen on Neowin. An actual functioning piece of work and not some Photoshopped, vaporware piece of crap. Herby you are the man.

Windows Media Player 9 & 10 Buttons

WMP10.jpg

You can use this Button as a "Remote", when you opened WMP 9 or 10 you can go to Now Playing or the Media Library by clicking on the Command.

Is there actually anything left? :p

What'd be kinda neat though...if you open a new toolbar of the desktop style, it automatically keeps the old "my computer" and crap in there along with the new icons. But what's cool about the old ones is that they're cascading file lists!

Hmmm...gotta be a way to reproduce that functionality. I'll do some digging, not that I've ever even looked in that area before of course, but...good time to learn. :)

Winamp Button

This is the first Button that uses another program because Winamp has no Command Line Parameters.

WA.jpg

Installation:

Copy WACommand.exe to your Winamp directory, run "Add Winamp.reg" & refresh your Desktop.

How about one for Thunderbird?

OK,.. but I don't use that E-mail Client.

Does these shortcuts work? Start -> Run:

"%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Thunderbird\Thunderbird.exe"

"%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Thunderbird\Thunderbird.exe" -safe-mode

"%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Thunderbird\Thunderbird.exe" -ProfileManager

Shall I also create one for Outlook Express, Outlook XP & Outlook 2003?

Hi Herby.

There are a number of switches that can be used with Thunderbird, not all of which will be useful in this scenario.

-Profilemanager (Create, Rename, Delete)

-P (Same as above)

-Selectprofile (AS above)

-Addressbook (Starts the addressbook)

There are others, probably more than I know about.
