Making a flow chart?

Ok, I have to make a flow chart for my Computer Networking class but don't have or know of any programs to do this. I made a really really crappy one in Paint just so you can see what flow chart basically looks like for those who don't know. Obviously I can't use this flow chart and need a good program that I can use to make a professional looking one. Thanks for any help.

Microsoft Visio, if you can afford it...

You could try Smart Draw.

Can't say anything about it, never tried it, but it looks like it would get the job done. It's free too.

Yup, you can do simple flow charts like that one in Microsoft Word

Word is ok if the data flow diagram is not a complex one..for the comples ones i'd go for Microsoft Visio

I find PowerPoint easier then Word to make basic ones.

Yeah, Visio is a great tool for creating diagrams/flowcharts. Check if your university has an MSDNAA license for it, in which case you should be able to get it as a free download. :)

yes, word can do this but its pretty difficult to make it nice.

both Visio and Smartdraw are better than MS word. I recommend Smartdraw coz I've been using it since last semester.

Damn, it is due tommorow morning and I still havn't been able to do it. I downloaded the Visio trial from the website but it is asking me for a serial number? I don't know why it would ask me that if it's just supposed to be a trial. Then I downloaded the Smartdraw trial, spent 35 minutes making a flow chart then realized when I printed it it came with a big "CREATED WITH A TRIAL COPY OF SMART DRAW" thing on the bottom. I can't hand that in like that. If anybody can point me to a good program I can use hopefully by tonight, please pm me, reply here, or email me at DragonfireXV@Gmail.com. Thanks.

when i was in sophomore year my comp teach made us do flow charts, they were COMPLETLY USLESS, so dumb we didnt bother finishing them
