since i installed it, i went from satisfied with ie, to excited, to freaking ****ed off.

i checked the numerous features, flipped from page to page, and tested out all the good stuff that the beta had shown me. only this time it was faster (i used an EARLY beta before).

well, after a while i stumbled upon a great "problem".

what i usually do is, i type the name (f.ex. winamp) and then press CTRL+ENTER for entering it as a com-domain (http://www.winamp.com). but it had stopped working. not entirely, but now it added .sv as a suffix instead, so i got to http://www.winamp.sv

and it isn't there... and it most certainly is NOT the page i'm looking for.

is there any way of changing it back to the original .com?

Maybe you need to check your langauge settings in IE. Could be set to Swedish.

Ctrl-Enter puts www. in front and .com at the end for me.

i have no idea what .sv could be =P

Check this key:

The '1' value should be 'www.%s.sv'. Change that to 'www.%s.com'. (%s = any text string)

I never heard of this feature before and I just tried it and CTRL+ENTER doesn't do anything. Any idea why?

and uh... .sv is "el salvador"

for the Ctrl+Enter to work you must have Autocomplete Web Addresses on.

my autocomplete has always been on, i'm not such a n00b ;)

it still gets me to el salvador. and uhm, to be frank... i haven't found ONE single page in el salvador yet. hehe. :)
