MazX_Napalm
Did you use the same Windows CD that came with that serial number? When SP2 first came out I tried using Corp. CD to create a slipstreamed WinXP disc. The pc I installed it on came with an OEM cd and that serial number would only work with OEM CD not the Corp. Gurgelmeyer
What are the contents of I386\SETUPP.INI on the CD, and what is the PID in "My Computer" -> "Properties"? Also, have you slipstreamed (1) an OEM CD, (2) a Retail, or (3) a VLE of XP?

ulukai_nl
Yeah Windows XP cd's a fickle about the keys, slipstreamed OEM still needs an OEM key. I found and article once where you could change the way setup asks for a key. OEM, CORP and VL have different looking setups when it comes to keys. This is only the way setup looks though... OEM cd still needs OEM keys.
