JRB2003 Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 ok, as the topic says, when installing XP SP2 does it wipe your entire pc hardrive?? can anyone please tell me if i should back my pc up before installing the service pack whihc the cd for i got with PC FORMAT magazine, so before installing it, i was wondering should i back up my pc or will it stay all there once the XP SP 2 is installed? - JRB2003 :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Batfink Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 You should always backup your files before a major update (like SP2). You should also maintain weekly backups on the safe side.
