heylove
The umps make some pretty ****ty calls but those 2 calls where right. It's all on camera who ever watched it saw they where right. Every Yankee fan I know is just as arrogant and childish as the Yankees players. I don't know about all Rex Sox fans but I'm man enought... well woman enough to admit that the Yankees can kick some ass. Why can't you Yankee fans admit the Sox are kicking ass. Why must you blame it on everything but the Red Sox playing good baseball. Time to grow up folks. Even if we don't win the playoffs at least we can say we didn't go down with out struggle. I have faith.

I'm pretty humble compared to alot of my fellow NYY brethren. ;) I do know alot of cocky Red Sox fans, though, it's not one-sided...

spoonstyle
Ahah, game 7. Man this is going to be great. I hope the Sox win, it would be great for baseball I think. Hopefully the Cards can win too, cause come on...Yankees and Astros World Series? Thats almost as bad as the Yankees and Marlins. But then again...I'm a Cubs fan and even though I would like to see it, but why should the Sox be in, when the Cubs, the other so-called cursed team, wasn't even in the playoffs. Danrarbc
He has his tendon recontructed using skin, he comes in with pain, and the thing is bleeding. Clemens has my respect after that, well, even more respect :star: As for the Yankees fans upset that the umps made the right call... :pacifier: PS: unique, that pic is classic

I just have Clemens on the brain since I'm a Cardinals fan, and they have to go through him if they want to make it to the World Series.

The two aren't without some shared characteristics. No offense to your Cards, but a Clemens/Schilling World Series match would be the stuff of legends. sfalcon
Maybe, but they're both pitching in league championships. Schilling snagged a win tonight. Surely he has something left, no?

I think Mark Grace could have pitched a 3 hitter to the 7th against us tonight.
sfalcon
Fact remains, he got the job done while playing injured. I'll commend him, and thank the Yankee hitters batters for their help at the same time.

ShawnB
Maybe, but they're both pitching in league championships. Schilling snagged a win tonight. Surely he has something left, no? 584771884[/snapback] Bill Morgan, the doctor who performed the procedure on him said [on local sports radio] that it's very possible Schilling could pitch again next week if necessary. They would have to do the same procedure to him again since the stitches have already been removed. Even if you are a Yankee fan, you have to admire a guy who is willing to have his tendon stitched up out of place to pitch. Even if he wasn't 100% sharp, Cy Young calibur -- he put everything he had on the line to get the win and that is what makes a champion. Of course, if the Sox lose it will all be for nothing.
