Microsoft Partner Pack for Windows XP

Recommended Posts

Worth the download?

Also what happened to the creativity fun packs?

Are those still around or being updated for the seasons?

Any other packs Microsoft has released that I may of missed?

Has microsoft released any additional WP, Sreensavers, and or avator icons for the login sreen and start menu?

Thanks

i cant be bothered reading the other pages but, it might be mentioned has anyone noticed one of the incentives of this partner pack, i think it's really geared towards getting the .NET framework on most users PC's, every single app there requires the actual framework.

You can make any avatar icons 'default' ones by placing them in the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Default Pictures

(Well, that's where mine are on XP Home, anyway!)

Hope that helps!

Looks rather worthless to me.

yep, I agree 100%, note for example: I have already AV, managed directx (used on Worldwind NASA), I don't have any flash usb devices only my usb adsl modem, google deskbar I make install of it alone by download here in Neowin, other manager's for that?, then... (Y)

anyone noticed a major slowdown while using this onfolio thingy?

it was a pain on my computer and made everything - mostly ie-browsing and ie istelf very very slow. it looked like onfolio itself was laggy too. i've had to uninstall it and things are back to normal now. very weird, but maybe someone knows more
