blackmartinix
I originally had Windows XP Pro with sp2 installed, and I broke that and couldn't boot it at all. I installed xp home but in a different directory (C:\HOME). I tried fixing my xp pro while using home, but to no avail. I took what I needed from the xp pro folder (C:\WINDOWS) and now I want to know if there is a way to make my new windows folder to the default name. I deleted C:\WINDOWS now that I didn't need it, and now I want to know if there is a way to make my new windows folder, C:\HOME, into C:\WINDOWS without any path errors or anything. eevoo
Seems to me you would be able to do that if you went to System Properties/Advanced/Enviroment Variables and changed all those to how you wanted. But I have never tried it.
