ozgeek
I'd rather stick with Firefox RC1 till Firefox 1.0 comes out, I've tweaked it too much to waste time re-tweaking it. grasshopper
They removed the "Force links to open up in a new tab" thingy  584861637[/snapback] yep. ya gotta change browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs to true. if you set up your prefs on RC1, they'll still work in RC2. However, they probably will add UI's for these options sometime next year. Notice that the options menu has been cleaned up and has plenty of room for a "Tweaks" or "Enhancements" page since they FINALLY moved themes and extensions into their own windows. :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/239844-firefox-10rc2-released/page/2/#findComment-584861856 Share on other sites

They took it out because of some bugs dealing with scripting, and some crashes. Here's the bug, if ya wanna check it out. Also, expect a major bugfix release (1.01-02) to come out sometime in early January. New features in 1.1 being planned according to chatter I read on Moz forums. -MAJOR bugfixes not fixed in 1.01. -Cross Session resume downloading. (YAY!) -MAJOR redo on download manager code. (Pausing issues, etc) -Use of Mozilla 1.8 code. (WOOHOO) -New UI for a functionality as yet to be determined by mozilla team (security, plugins, helper AI, could be any of these) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/239844-firefox-10rc2-released/page/2/#findComment-584862082 Share on other sites

The Jorge
If you already have RC1, then why not just wait for 1.0 Final? Don't think it has changed that much that one should feel the need to upgrade.
