Mac OS is[bDESIGNED>[/b]> to be used with a single button mouse, although it can take advantage of a multi button mouse. Why is this concept so hard for people to understand? There is nothing in OS X thatrequires> the use of the second button.

but its nice to have the scroll feature and for people who might like to play games on their system.. please dont say get a console or a windows box because sometimes people might just want to play warcraft or something like that on their mac and its much better with a right click button.

Then buy a multi-button mouse. It's not like they won't work with a Mac. I mean, really, how many people actually use the mouse that originally came with their system anyway, except as a last resort?

i never said it wouldnt.. you were saynig that mac is perfectly designed for one mouse so why get a 2 button and i was telling you why...

btw i use the defualt mouse that came with my PC it has optical and wire.. but no need to update cause i dont need 8 buttons or whatever..

i paid 50 pounds for a wireless keyboard and mouse from the Apple Store.

I just plugged in my bluetooth dongle, paired it, and it works totally fine.

No drivers, no special leads for USB nothing.

Whoever says otherwise is wrong or has a problem with their pc.

I use a Toshiba laptop.

I personally going to use the laptop and keyboard for my Plasma tv/Mac mini and buying a MX1000

Plus there is a two button mouse coming out by Apple soon.

As for right clicking at the moment, you can download a little patch/app that lets you either hold down the button for a second OR hold CTRL then click.

Easy, sexay, and ace quality.
