Anyone know where I can download the full AOL 9.0?

Question

They don't have a disc, and AOLs website only has the 533kb download to start the 6 hour download of AOL 9.0. Does anyone know where I can download the full version so I can drop it on a disc for them? Currently they are running 8.0.

If it were my choice, I'd say switch to something else, but they really like it, so hey, more power to them.

Thanks

Like people below said, get one of the free isks. You can get them everywhere. Unless you want me to send you the 204mb file with the AOL Setup program.

I was just thinking of that since I gotta run to town anyway.. I'll just do that.

And yes, about the friends thing LOL, it's actaully my dads friend, I do computer work for him once in a while. Not like I'd have a say in the matter anyway, they got sucked into AOLs marketing ploy to take over the world  Theres no hope now

Its all the same !@#$%.

AOL 9.0, AOL 9.0 Gold, AOL 9.0 Platnum, blah blah blah. Its all just AOL 9.0.

You got the initial response I expected. AOL is a horrible program, nevermind the service.

Had the same problem a while back...my computer-illiterate mom is also mesmerized by AOL. And she keeps complaining to me why her AOL keeps crashing, why she gets so many member enlargement email, why she can't watch streaming video without stuttering, etc. etc.

Their setup files are so insanely huge, it took eight hours to download AOL 8.0 on my mom's PC. :( I finally got her to AOL 9.0 (same crap, new program skin) when she found one of those CDs. I wish they put the whole binary on their site, so I could have just burned a CD or stick it on a USB memory stick (after d/l on my 3Mbps ADSL) and hoofed over.

They do let you download the whole AOL Communicator setup file, though.
