Biggest updates from 2.4 that are not Sunwell related are obviously:

No More Diminishing returns. Honor is calculated instantly and is available to spend instantly.

Warlocks can summon anyone into instances.

Well I have been using this UI for a little while, but only just decided/remembered (take your pick) to take a couple of pictures of it.

There is a few things not visible in the screens, the party and raid layouts, and there is some mouseover bars down the bottom which contain quick links to buffs (Molten Armor, Dampen Magic etc etc) and spells i use rarely (Like Frost Ward, Conjuring stuff etc etc), I have spent hours painstakingly tweaking, and modifying it thus far, and still continue to change it just a little every time I login. I just need to grab some screenies of the raid and party screens.

The screens are a little old, i had to update/fix a few of my mods so they worked agian after my move to Linux, and a lot of the info on there is outdated. Like the score for my highest hit is no longer, 6k it's 9k and so forth. I really hate the three minute mage spec, but it's going pretty well in Arenas thus far.

All of the rest of my spells are on hidden bars and binded to keys, I decided to go for a clean, sleek and minimalist setup this time.

All of the unit frames will highlight with a bright border so they can be easily decursed (Using a mouseover decurse macro), and highlights a slight blue if they are missing AI.

Anyways here are the screens (Click to enlarge)

Does anyone know when the 2.4 patch is gona be released?

Will the changes have a big effect on ret pallys?

Looks like 2.4 will be on PTR's this week. Give it 2-4 weeks for testing, I say March.

As far as ret pally's. Blizz confirms it will help ret pallys increase dps, by changing stats on gear, etc.

Paladin

* Items intended for Retribution Paladins have had their stats adjusted. Retribution Paladins should see an increase in dps as a result

I have a question.

There's these bats in some cities that fly you quickly to other cities. (Sepulcher to UC for example) What cities are these bats located in? I'm on Kalimdore right now, and have to run ridiculously long distances for small quests. Are there tansportation bats in Orggrimar, Crossroads, anywhere?

You may want to look at the Atlas Mod to find all the flight paths. You can easily see them on the map they include. The more places you go to, the more paths you'll discover. But yeah, until you hit 40, plan on running all over the place :(

Hi guys, yet another question ;-)

Is there a quick way to switch through friendly players on BGs for healing? I often find myself taking valuable time looking for people who need healing...

thanks in advance

I personally dont use any mods so there are probably alot of easier ways to do it if you are but in BG i bind the F key to show friendly healthbars, not sure what it is as default. Obviously if they are in your own group the F1 - F5 keys work well but that's not so helpfull in BG i guess. Other than that Ctrl+Tab as Evn suggested

You will find Wingriders at most towns and cities, you will find them the further out you explor. if you've just reached Kalimdore you will find yourself running long distances until you get these. Best thing to to is set aside a bit of time to pick some of the Flighpaths up. Orggrimar has one in a tower behind the bank, then i would say head to the crossroads, ratchet, camp Taurajo for your barrens quests. splintertree post in ashenvale if you're heading that way.

I have quests that I do, that take me to a new city often. And there, will be all new quests. I still have quests from older cities. Should I make the new cities my waypoint and forget the old quests? Or go back.

that one is a matter of prefference really, i find it's best to have quests from a couple of areas in your log and flick between the two. as long as the text on the quest hasn't gone gray you will still get worthwhile XP from the quests but you can stretch yourself a bit thin if you keep picking up quests as soon as you arrive in a new area.

I would recommend picking up and keeping your green/yellow quests and working through them and you'll find the red/orange ones should then turn yellow/green by the time you have cleared what you have. This may mean that you end up going back and forth between zones, if that's not what you fancy then just whip through everything in one location.

in regards to your hearthstone it will really depend on the zones and the distance between them i guess. Once you get a few levels under your belt and a few more Flighpaths you may find it easier to just bind it to a capital city (org UC or TB) as you they are quite central and have banks.
