I love this game, but lately it is really really starting to annoy me. I'm a level 19 Night Elf Druid. I'm currently located in Auberdine. I have two quests that i need help with, Remtravels Excavation Quest, and Researching the Corruption quest in Blackfathom deep. These are the only quests really left in the area for me to do, and the last 4 times i have played the game, i cannot get anyone to help me or any group to join. I've been trying to get these quests done, especially blackfathom deep, but i can't because no one will help.

Use the general chat to find groups.. type '/1 <space>' and that will put you into general chat... then ask for group help there :)

Also... you don't HAVE to do every quest... :)

Or you could wait until you have a few levels under your belt beyond the level at which you got the quest(s) and just do them yourself.

Ok, i'll try out that General chat. Thanks.

I know i don't have to do Every quest... but i try lol. :D

Well, i'm very close to reaching level 20, so all i can do is battle beasts to gain experience because there are no smaller quests available in the vicinity. I really wanna finish Blackfathom deep because that is an elite quest, the first one i've come across, and that is why i need a group to help. I also haven't come across a quest that requires me to travel to a new city or town.

that really sucks bad, bro.

hopefully their will be a patch or something that will fix the problem you are having. i wish i would have known that you were having a problem earlier, as the first thing i would have suggested (since you were up to spending some money) was to replace your motherboard. it seems that the motherboard is the worse part of a PC. It is the first part to go bad in almost all the systems i've ever had, and it is usually the causs of any incompatibility problems you are having with software.

fortunately it is also generally the cheapest hardware to replace. way cheaper then a new video card/memory and processor.

WoW doesn't even have very intense demands on the video card, really. it has a pretty small polygon count in most areas.

hope you get the issue resolved. maybe it is best that you don't, since your wife is already mad at you. i've heard of games like these leading to divorces and ****. it is like drugs...

does anyone know where i can find good statistical information on the different servers in WoW.

I'd like to know what race/class combinations are picked the least. I feel like i just keep picking combos that everyone has.

It would also be cool to see a level distribution of characters and classes on all the servers. Surely Blizzard has all this information somewhere.

Here's a tip.. don't play a shaman or paladin.. they are overused in every server. Rogues are very popular too.

If you want a good class, go with a Preist (you will always find groups), or a mage (they suck but will hopefully get buffed, and are VERY important at the latter parts of the game).

out of all the classes I've tried so far, it would appear that the druid and preist have the hardest time early on in the game. (well not really hard, it just takes long to kill the lower level guys then any of the other classes i've tried). me thinks that makes them better for later in the game.

thanks for the tip. what do you think of the druid?

I was playing as a gnome mage a little last night. Slaughtered wolves in like 2 to 3 shots. Usually could kill them before they even touched me.

I've got so many characters made already. I just need to pick one and commit. I have a level 8 undead warlock that I really like. unfortunetly he is on a non-PvP server. So maybe i'll just start that one over.

Mages don't do enough damage, trust me when I tell you. I'm a level 42 mage now. You can't kill anything 2 levels above you (almost all melee classes can), and you have a lot of downtime. They are nice for AOEs (area of effects) but as single damage dealers, they leave a lot to be desired.

Im a level 45 druid... Before the big "fix" of the bear form... I was kinda weak... But now with my armor over 3500... I can hold my own... my brother is a lvl 46 priest.... we both tear it up now...  :alien:

My armor is hrm... 600 with a buff, at level 42 :(

Keep in mind... you level a *lot* faster avoiding quests entirely. Just keep killing monster after monster, and you level faster. Two to three levels under you is ideal.

Best of luck!

You couldn't be more wrong. Grinding is the slowest way to level after level 20. I'm a 56 Paladin.

If that's what he likes why should he care if it's overused? Evidently a lot of people are having fun with those classes. Hunter is also a popular class.

The grinding part I was told by my guildmates.. most of whom are 60. They said they grinded and grinded till 60, and got their REALLY fast. What do you suggest? I'm a mage, I can't solo higher end mobs...

I have a mage alt and I could solo +2 lvl mobs, not sure why you're having such a problem, yeah they resist the spells but not 100%. As far as the grinding goes, I grinded half a level and then quested for the rest the grinding took about 4x the amount of time it did for me to do the quests for about the same exp. I guess it varies class to class but I know that the game was designed around these quests and not just repeatedly killing stuff, which gets old pretty fast I might add.

You say you're in a guild, why don't they help you with your quests so that you don't have to solo them? I mean that is the point of a guild.

You probably should hav relized that throwing money and hardware at the game won't fix it. What errors are you getting, could be your internet? Have you tried to totally uninstall then reinstall the game? I could also be a bad CD. You didn't spend the cash to play WoW, you are a fool if you spent 99 on sound card so you can get rid of errors in a game. It isn't wasted anyways it is still a nice setup.

I have a nice lvl 27 Dwarf Hunter, Would probably be 30 except I started a Gnome Mage who is 14 now, mining/engineering is a nice profession choice. This game is sooo good, I have played this game soo much in 3 weeks, it is well worth it.

i have no clue im stumped thx for calling good bye

well thats a good question, i have alot of characters, and i've got a lvl 14 shammy... when i do quests i get about 1k of exp or a little more... now if i grind my same level i usually get 110xp so kill 14 of them i'll have the same exp as a quest... i dono i guess grinding while doing quests might be the best?

Hey guys, I have a question on the whole account rules thing. I have the game and enjoy playing it a lot, but I also want to let my bro play it, the problem is I play way too much. And I don't have ability to pay for another account, but someone in game told me that restriction is only for 1 copy of same char online at the time, so if he plays different char he can play with my account (if we on the same lan).Is this BS or what?
