Hokies Win The ACC!

the big east is gonna struggle to keep their bcs birth....

yeah, this year was bad for nebraska, i remember them giving up 70pts in one game..thats just crazy. if someone scored 70pts on michigan i think i'd jump off a bridge. ;)

haha yea...the big east got raped by the ACC and they really shouldn't have had a BCS birth...and next year they are losing Boston College too, not huge, but they always upset ranked teams and stuff. I think they were actually ranked for a few weeks too. I can't see them keeping their BCS birth though.

I think the new BCS contract with the major conferences is up in 2006 or 2007, so that Big East bid won't be out there much longer. They might even lose it next year, I can't remember. They have Louisville and Cincy coming in though, and they got rid of straggling Temple. At least lower tier teams such as Rutgers are making an effort, with its new $10M facilities.

I think the last rankings I saw (according to decible levels reached) was Texas A&M, Neyland, and Lane Stadium were top 3.

Hmmm... I saw a game at Kyle Field (Tex A&M) once and I was none too impressed. It was a big game against Ok State which went into overtime after a furious A&M comeback. Sorry to say, it was kind of lame.

How about this from a former A&M coach:

"Baton Rouge happens to be the worst place in the world to be a visiting team."

-- The Late Paul "Bear" Bryant, head coach of Kentucky, Texas A&M and Alabama.
