Xpero, so I should just open all the dll files from the ENU version and the DLL versions from the DK version, and them move the ressources.

Could you make a bit more detailed guide for Restorator 2004, not sure what to export and import, and how to do it. (Sorry for being such a whiner) :)

@xpero:

Couldn't this be released as a patch instead of complete new files?

I mean, just the data that differs from the original files (very little I guess, since they're only icons), and patch'em into the files...that way the download would be _way_ smaller and you can even do some aditional checks in the installer like version checking...

the installor is just like a patch. It replaces the resource without replacing the files. the files are about 11mg the installor is about 4.5mb. installer works with window xp home, xp pro, 2003, and other versions

Whoops, sorry, I've only tried the previous non installer version, so I tought the installer was only automating the process of replacing the files...

EDIT: So the hotfixes packs are no longer needed then?

i noticed a small problem trying to impliment this into an already installed windows. the replacer said it exported the files correctly but i rebooted and windows went into a infinit looop :( i will try installing it in slipstreamed version of windows

and yes i was using SP2 on xp

As I bielive you no longer need the hotfixes files. If you do a update via window update theres is xpize udater in the start->programs

were you using the batch script or the installer?

Note: This installer works with window xp home, pro, 2003, and many other version like window media edtion and maybe tablet pc.

A bit confused and I know I will sound like a moron for asking...but what exactly does this transformation pack do? It looks just like windows xp to me....*confused* Or is this for people who want to change their modded xp files back to the originals or what?

if you take a look at the screenshots some of the files bmp or icons have been changed. They icons that still looked like 2000 are updated this pack. It just make window prettier. This pack had nothing to do with microsoft. I recommend you try it.

Another helpful thing would be just the changed files. Then I can ResHack them in myself?

As I have to Install it or not. I cant put the files in a Directory and then see what it is actually installing :/

Thanks,

Peter

well I know the installor just change the resources, but that might be most of them. Shell32.dll contains a lot of the icons, some bmp, a few animations
