You will need not to --> Update or Change your profile (Zip codes etc....) Re-active your account within 24 hours...and your mails in Inbox will remain there,, won't be deleted.... to close your account... ---> First Sign in then..paste this link in URL... http://by17fd.bay17.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/Accountclose --> NO NEED TO UPDATE PROFILES ... LIKE FLORIDA ZIP CODES... etc.. and IF U HAVE UPDATED ..U CAN Update IT again TO UR ORIGINAL PROFILE.... NO Need to Sign out MSN Messenger.. while doing this procedure... ENJOY. So now she's happy too, she didn't want to change to gmail because she's used to hotmail but she sure appreciates the extra space. I tried pasting that close account link in the first post, and it gives that internal error. after a while i figured out that pasting that link would only work for the accounts on bay17, since the number 17 is explicitly there in the link. so i modified the link to suit me: ie bay3. the account succesfully closed this time, but on reactivating it was still 2 mb large and 86% full :( 2.
