Graphic Equalizer that makes universal changes...

Question

I got my Z-680's a bit ago and i love them. Theres one problem though, the sub is way too bassy. I can tame it through itunes (the graphic equaizer) and it makes listening to music much more enjoyable, but then I go to windows media player and its back to that bassy sound, obviously.

So my question is, is there a program, that I can run, almost like my Volume Control thing, taht would be a graphic equalizer and would universally work. So I would'nt have to change in each program. Thanks in advanced. :D

Note: I'm just using my Soundmax onboard 5.1 coax until I can afford an audigy 2

Edit: I found these SPDIF (coax) settings but for some reason it wont let me adjust the bass/trebble....

when i clicked the circled button it brings up this:
