GR7 Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 yep chconline....i mean it "looks" good but the plastics are cheap. even the ones from my 2006 lancer were better...i still like the car though. i think if they raised the price of the car in 400 or 500 more bucks they could've made the plastics way better but who knows. So I guess CVT transmissions have a given number of gears, even though mechanically it doesn't? :huh: How's the drive? Smooth, sporty, etc? GR7 Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 hey revvo. yeah the look is vry cool...kinda aggresive. and yep, the interior could be better... the GTS version has paddle shifters...mine doesn't have it. but the suspension on the lancer is great and still feels like a sporty car..i get that feeling that when i hit the gas i get stuck to the seat (not sure if i said it right)...but its fast. Secondary kill switch with LED (upgrading to Mongoose/Cyclops or Mongoose Upgrade alarm to coexist with built in immobiliser) 6. K&N Panel Filter $80 7. Installed 2.5inch Sports Exhaust (removing old one was fun, hacksaw 2 sections off before i could get off the car, then hacksawed the length at the end) $220 8. Installed silver tip for the exhaust $18 9. Then i had installed the king Springs Lows ($150 ebay) and Ultima Lowered 1.5inch shocks (Fronts $139 + $120 labour which included removal of old and Kings Springs i supplied installedr, rears $99 + $120 labour which included removal of old and Kings Springs i supplied installed) Possible to come 1. Turbo or supercharger 2. Pacemaker extractors 3. XR6 engine Currently does 11L-13.5L per 100kms hard city driving 8.5L per 100kms on the highway of a car similar to mine.
