Brian M. Veteran Posted February 19, 2010 Veteran Share Posted February 19, 2010 2004 Fiat Punto Dynamic 5dr 1.2 16v. Stock photo, but this is the same shape/colour as mine: It's not spectacular, however for a first car it's not bad, nice to drive and fairly quick (granted it's only 80bhp, but it's a fairly small car and it's pretty damn nippy). spikey_richie
Citroen C2 1.4 HDi VTS A black 2009 Citroen C4.. from work. 1.6L Petrol, 4 speed automatic, oh yea! Well, it goes from point A to B, in comfort, with a horrible transmission but a chassis that clearly deserves more power, eats corners like a champ. Surprised it's a 4 speed auto, not 5 speed. Is it SensoDrive?

SyntaxError
93 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 3.1L No engine or body mods. Added a Pioneer mp3 head unit, Fosgate 4x6 plate speakers in the dash, JL Audio 6x9s in the rear, Fosgate 900watt amp in the trunk with a pair of Fosgate 10 inch subs. The only mod I did was add a couple rca jacks under the dash connected to the back of the Pioneer, so I could hook up anything with an output. Hit a deer before this pic was taken. Had to replace the driver's side fender and piece together the headlight mounting bracket on the driver's side. My dad had someone put on new paint and clearcoat on the entire front and part of the back, so it looks new. Too bad it's coming off the trunk lid and wing now. Still runs very strong, and gets the factory highway mileage of 27 mpg. I do as much of my own work on it as possible. Handles very well, but I'm tired of sports cars. I want to replace it with a Toyota truck though. Tired of not being able to haul or pull anything.

BGM
A fake M3? Is that roof painted? it's a 3 series M sport coupe, factory option with factory wheels.. you could look at it as 'fake m3' i suppose, but it's no where near as good as an m3 yes that roof is painted.. looks pretty good imo

.bin
I'm a proud owner (as of 2 days ago) of a BMW 318i E36.. The 1994 model, it's maroon in colour, is lowered, clear rear-lights, and has 18" BMW Alloy wheels sported by Pirelli low-profile tyres. Pictures soon to come whenever I get to drive it somewhere. itzwolf
My hobby car is a 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII. It has gone through several builds all of which I have done all the work and tuning myself. There are a couple videos of the car on the street "playing" with sportbikes and 600+ HP cars. I haven't had it on a dyno but have somewhat recently put it against a 600+ HP Supra and pulled away, that was on 93 octane pump gas and 30lbs of boost. :p Modifications (I think I've remembered everything): AEM Cam Gears AEM EMS w/ Speed Density Conversion (AEM 5 Bar MAP Sensor) AMS 2.0L Built Bottom End w/Revised Oliver Rods, Revised AMS/Ross Racing 8.9:1 Pistons, and O-Ringed Block AMS GT37R Turbo Kit AMS 4" Speed Density Intake w/ K&N Filter AMS 3" Turbo-back Exhaust w/ Testpipe AMS Fuel Rail AMS Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit AMS Full Race Head w/1MM Oversized Valves & Inconel Exhaust Valves AMS Intercooler AMS Polished Intercooler Piping (Lower and Upper) AMS Spec L19 Headstuds AMS Upper and Lower Flexible Braided Stainless Steel Clutch Lines AMS VSR Intake Manifold (Polished) Buschur Racing BFIC Intercooler (24x13x4.5 Core Size) Buschur Racing Cam Sensor Heat Shield Buschur Racing Double Pumper (Twin Walboro) Fuel System Buschur Racing Inline Boost Controller Buschur Racing Ported 65mm Throttle Body Carbon Fiber Arm Rest Cover Custom Blacked Out Headlights Cosworth Crankshaft Oil Scraper Evolution 7 Tail Lights Exedy Triple Plate HD Clutch FIC 1150cc Injectors Fluidampr Harmonic Balancer Greddy Weighted Chrome Shift Knob HKS Turbo Timer JMF Large Vented Oil Catch Can JUN 272 Cams Kartboy Short Shifter Lancershop Brass Shifter Bushings (Transmission Cables and Base Bushings) Nisei Race Battery Kit Mitsubishi Evolution IX Rims Perrin Shorty Antenna RotorPros Slotted and Crossed Drilled Rotors Shepherd Transmission Ultimate Ratio Transmission w/REM/Cryo Treated Sliders Shepherd Transmission Stage 2 Transfer Case w/REM/Cryo Treated Gears & Mitsubishi LSD SparkTech Pro COP Ignition System with Polished Coil Covers (Not installed in pictures) STM Clutch Fork Stopper Techna-Fit SS Braided Brake Lines Tial 50mm BOV Tial 38mm Wastegate Tien S-Tech Lowering Springs Wolo Bad Boy 120 Decibel Air Horn Zeitronix ZT2 Wideband w/ ZR2 Gauge

But.. catching a train to a friends tonight, to go and buy a second Corrado - the 2.9 litre VR6 - tomorrow :) It's this one: Can't wait... :) I love VR6's, both Rado's and Golfs, those engines pull so well, and such a flat torque curve, pretty bomb proof too :-)
Chicane-UK Veteran Posted April 6, 2010 Veteran Share Posted April 6, 2010 Had it a few days now.. boy, it doesn't half put a smile on your face. My 16v has approx 145BHP and this has just under 200BHP.. I didn't think 55BHP would make such a difference, but the VR6 would absolutely annhilate the 16v in a straight line. And it's such silent, refined power... you barely hear it whilst you keep the revs below 2,500RPM but once you break past that the noise is beyond intoxicating. I knew it'd sound awesome as I've been hankering after a VR6 for years and have been fortunate enough to drive a variety of standard and heavily tuned ones (including, most recently, a VR6 turbo putting out just under 400BHP... ) and have always loved them. Feels pretty surreal to own one at last.
