Sleeper Veteran Posted January 18, 2005 Veteran Share Posted January 18, 2005 Hi, At the moment I have my laptop connect to a 17" LCD and have dual screen enabled, but when I try to use a dual screen wall paper it just shrinks it, and shows the same thing on each screen. This is the display config. Anyone know what im doing wrong? Is it that my laptop screen is at a higher resolution than the LCD?
forster
You need another app to stretch it, but I cant for the life of me remember what it is :pinch:
Mr Dee
you need a wallpaper that is as large as both your screens resolutions put together. For example, if you have two 1024 x 768 screens, then your wallpaper needs to be at least 2048 x 768 to go all the way across. Then all you need to do is select 'Tile' instead of strech on the display properties.

endtwist
UltraMon is also good for that. It can also give you a taskbar on the second monitor :D (this way apps on the second monitor are not cluttering up your main monitor's taskbar)
