2007 time zone update for Microsoft Windows operating systems

Starting in the spring of 2007, daylight saving time (DST) start and end dates for the United States will transition to comply with the Energy Policy Act of 2005. DST dates in the United States will start three weeks earlier (2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November).

The update that this article describes changes the time zone data to account for the United States DST change. This time zone update will also include changes for other related DST changes, time zone behavior, and settings. Some of these changes will occur in 2007, and some have occurred since these versions of Windows were originally released. The update that this article describes also includes some changes that have previously been released as individual hotfixes. An example of this is the Sri Lanka change in time zone offset. This update will also include some changes that have been individually documented in Microsoft Knowledge Base articles.

Not sure if this is an "acceptable" addition to Autopatcher:

European Union Expansion Font Update:

Updated versions of Times New Roman (regular, bold, italic and bold italic), Arial (regular, bold, italic and bold italic) and Verdana (regular, bold, italic and bold italic) that include six additional characters not available in the Windows XP versions of these fonts. The new added characters are Unicode code-points U+0218, U+0219, U+021A and U+021B used for Romanian and U+040D and U+045D used in Bulgarian.

Microsoft released first update for IE7 (not for Windows Vista).

This update resolves a performance issue with the Phishing Filter. When visiting certain web pages, the Phishing Filter may increase CPU usage while evaluating the page contents and the system may become slow to respond. This problem occurs on pages that contain multiple frames or when multiple frame navigations occur quickly. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer.

As I stated in my post before, that update is replaced by KB896256 as KB896256 includes nt*.exe and halmacpi.dll version 5.1.2600.3023, while KB924441 inclludes nt*.exe version 5.1.2600.3014.
