I am glad that Madden did not do it.  Madden is my favorite announcer, my next would be Al Michaels.  I wonder how much longer Madden can survive, eating all those Outback steaks can't be good for yo:(:(

madden?? you actually like him? ever since he was questioning that drive that pats were making against the rams in the superbowl i have see the light and he sucks. the score is tied w/ a bit less than a 2 minutes on the clock, the pats are pushign the ball up the field and he is questioning belichick's thinking. he's outdated if you ask me.

They'll stop here, and go for overtime. That's good football.

Ugh, that was the worst commentary ever. They had Vinatieri on the field and he was still saying "they'll play it slow." Football has the worst overtime system ever. You'd be insane to want to play the Superbowl out there.
