LMFAO!!! The King of Pause!

I'll have to go with Star Wars as well. Star Trek is a nice little utopia where rich white people can feel good about themselves for bringing such a great system [federation] to the universe. Star Wars is just a whole lot more believable.

Farscape? Oh Sh1t !!!

In a perfect world, Gene Roddenberry would do the wrinting for Star Wars.

Heck, if he was still alive, we wouldn't have to deal with Voyager and Enterprise - that crap writing would never get past his desk.

The whole Kirk/ Luke match up is bogus anyway...let's get a real match up...Vader/ vs. Kirk. Vader would raise his gauntlet and you'd have about a min. of Kirk overacting the choking scene as he's strangled from across the room "Can't....get....air....oh...my....*"

LOL how right you are :D

And how many Federation ships would they have to throw against a single Super Star Destroyer? Not to mention the Federation has no short range fighters...I'd like to see a Constitution class ship defend itself against an X-Wing and/ or Tie assualt...not going to happen.

Babylon5 is great...made it my mission to watch the series continuosly from start to finish when Sci Fi got ahold of it. Wow. A show with an actual plot.

I'd like to see the Farscape universe thrown into the mix. You've got some good firepower going on there...I think a Scorpius/ Vader match up would be worth it's own series...two black clad superior bad guys each after the other, backed by massive military empires. Fun for the whole family.

Hmm... well, seeing as though Luke is the main good guy (of the original trilogy) and Kirk is the main good guy of star trek, I put that matchup.

I think you took it too seriously... they were jokes. :)

1) Babylon 5 - Excellent 5yr story !

2)Star Wars - Excellent Saga !

3)Star Trek - Excellent Theory !

Although I thought S/T Voyager sucked @ times & Deep Space 9 was probably one of the better Star Treks, few similarities with B5

but I'm sure S/T got the ideas from JMS of B5.

Star Wars Ep2 ATOC .. Was best Star Wars movie for special effects.

Star Wars is ok, Star Trek is alot better tho.

TOS - interesting VERY funny only seen like 5 episodes (tribbles rule)

TNG - yeah it was ok *yawn* explore space *yawn* get into trouble *kewl* try lots of different ways to get out of the sticky situation *yawn* then the VERY last method that JUST MIGHT WORK.... and it does *yawn* and time for a few words of reflections....

DS9 totally rocks my fave so far it was original with its- abandoned space station, wormhole "prophets",Gamma Quadrant ,The Emissary and the and the Dominion War - totally kicked a$$.

Voyager - some interesting things tho the final episode was prob the best one out of the lot :D :D

Enterprise - ok so far :-/ like TNG this temporal cold war idea with suliban is a good long term plot. However nicked the "prequel" idea from Star Wars? hehe who knows ;)

Star Trek draw back.. NO LIGHTSABER'S hehe

DEATH Wish: CP30, Wesley Crusher or Neelix or Harry Kim (the most annoying characters in sci-fi?)

I like both for what they are - however...

The dialogue in the Star Wars movies is very 'simplistic' (just look at TPM for examples - everything said is direct to the storyline, nothing 'off topic' to add depth)

BUT

Star Trek have managed to contradict themselves a few times (notably the 'eugenics wars' - supposed to have taken place in the late '90s, but Voyager had a time-travel episode based in the same period - with no war!)

Don't get me wrong, they're both great and I love them! But they are very different by virtue of their backgrounds.

OK, flame me...! :p

OMG, please tell me you're kidding?! DS9 had to be the WORST out of them all. Prophet this, prophet that. Sometimes I wish the Cardassians had kept on enslaving those dang Bajorans, I man, dang it, the most annoying people in the universe, DS9 couldn?t have picked a more annoying race to neighbor with -.- And then Sisko being a God? Ugh!! LoL The last few eps with the fleets of star ships going at it was kool though.

Voyager I tought got better as it progressed. It was awesome when they started do more eps with the Borg, but then its like every other ep would feature the Borg, so I sorta think they kinda over userd them in a way. And yeah, the series finale ep 0wned!

As for Enterprise, yeah, I agree, the temporal cold war is getting pretty interesting. Did you see the season finale of Enterprise? Jeebus! Can't wait to see the second half this fall. Man, wonder who he's going to get back to his own tim:ermm:m:

And about the no light saber deal... dampening fields will take care of those  muahahahahahaahahaha
