pepsi iTunes promo

Recommended Posts

in California when you buy a Pepsi soda for $0.99 you have to pay for SRV and tax so after all added up you pay about $1.20 to a dollar $1.35 per bottle of soda when all you have to pay on line for a song from itunes is $0.99 a song so why in the world would you waste time (gas Money) to go to the store and buy a bottle of soda for a free song which is not really a free song

If there wasn't a promo you would still be paying the same price.  Now you get songs too.

Its not a good promotion, but its not that bad.

Most kids who buy Pepsi wouldn't be able to buy songs off of iTunes. Why?

No line of credit. This is mostly aimed at those kids.

iTunes works with debit cards, which is what I've been using since it was launched. Just get a free checking account and you're all set.

Here at my university, Pepsi is a buck per bottle, so it's a good enough deal, IMHO.

That depends. Some banks don't trust teenagers under 16 with money. So...those banks require that your parents co-sign for the account. There lies yet another problem. Parents don't trust their kids with money, and according to my father it could get the IRS after you. Why? Because they think you're trying to hide money in your child's account. Free checking here also requires a $100 minimum to be in the account at all times. If you go under, charges and fees apply.

Its not all black and white.

yeah but why would parents brother, after all this would allow a kid to do more then buy songs from iTunes... possibly p0rn too

I'd stick with the pepsi promotion. (even though I hate pepsi.... 600+ codes.. no iPod  )
