annoying network password **screen of it**

i wanted to give my father something through my computer and so i go to his computer and go into "network places" and click on "view network connections" then i click on my network name, but when i go to click on it i get some damn password to get into my computer through my dads and i dont know wtf the password is and i dont even know what password its using for it. please, if u know how in the heck to get rid of this or shut the feautre off...god, i would be so grateful...heres a screen of what it looks like...

has this happened before? have you tried transfering stuff before? has anythign changed recently on either of the computers? Maybe your father put a password on his shares?

anyway, it looks as if it is trying to access using the guest account which has either a) no password, so just try hitting enter (and you can check Remember my password to keep it hidden in the future) or b) the guest account is disabled (or was recently), so it would need to be turned back on (not so recommended for many reasons)

have you tried mapping a directory on the other machine?
