I am working on the specific custom install option now !

Adverse affects ? I haven't got IE6SP1 on hand, but iexplore.exe will get renamed and replace. I would suggest (for the mean time) Do a typical install then go to X:Program FilesInternet Explorer and simply delete iexplore.exe and rename iexplore.exe.mmx > iexplore.exe to get your original SP1 file back. Next release should fix this problem (if I can figure it out):D

Great d00d and i hope you can get it worked out :) Looking forward to it!

you are a paranoid little twit ?

if you knew how to replace a file that is inuse, you would know that you need to create a temorary copy of it b4 you replace it. It just so happens that this occurs in your sysdir because that is the defaul dir for the install. (this is where most of the files go).

If I wanted to issue you with a trojan, I would just come in through one of windows many open ports and give you a 2kb file without you even knowing. Why would I make you d/l nearly 20mb to install a trojan.

I feel i can speak on behalf of most people in this thread when I say STFU unless you know differnet.

P.S: If you had a half decent AV app, it could read the contents of the installer b4 you install it and tell you of the presence of a trojan.

GROW UP

agentsmith,

LOL, i have tried for a while to mess around with MS Outlook. crap 16 colour icons everywhere that you can do nothing about.

If you can find a cool set of 16 coclour icons I would be happy to mod it

Gizm0,

read my reply to byte in this thread, explains how to get your old iexplore.exe back in place.

Shadow,

I had thought I instructed the installer NOT to install on systems other than English, obviously my command did not work if you could install on your German OS :o I will look further into foreign versions once we get the English one rockin'.

Qarth,

Check out this site , this is the software I use. I have only been playing with it for about 2 weeks, so as far as teaching or answers go, I am just a beginner. I find it very easy to work with.

Yes, i know! I've just tried it :D english xp rockZ :) thx man...the only thing i need is...msgina.dll & logoff windows backgrounds for mercury. :ponder:

Maybe It's because of the fact that I am a newbie but the installer just switched my modded shell 32 to mainly a default version. I followed everything except maybe I was supposed to do this in safe mode? I dunno but I went back to my originally modded mmx shell 32.dll.
