It took me some time to convert all .exe, .cpl and .dll files but was well worth the time. My shel32.dll is larger then 10MB and I'm having this kind of error messages: user32.dll was relocated in memory. the relocation occured because the DLL shell32.dll occupied an address range reserved for windows system DLLs. I heard something about using shell32 larger than 10MB causes this kind of messages. Anyone got this error? And know a solution? doh Posted October 7, 2002 Share Posted October 7, 2002 Mine is also larger than 10mb (around 12mb). I used the ResPatcher to change the shell32.dll file & am not receiving any error messages. Try the ResPatcher (it's a shareware) to change the shell32.dll. In my current job I am driving about 14 hours a day now, so coming home to work on a PC for hours is not always going to happen. I am still working on it and have about 40 exe's done already, I will start work on the dll's this weekend sometime and then the cpl's soon. Maybe a couple of weeks B4 I get around to compiling the installer and testing it K. I just did a clean install and upgraded to SP1 and I must say I cannot live without that MMX-look of your first installer!!! My system is so incredibly dull right now! I was actually putting off the upgrade to SP1 until you would have released your second version but circumstances forced me to re-install. Anyway, I was just wondering how you're doing, and if you're almost ready or not? Your first installer was an unbelievably cool, must-have extra, so don't give up on this one! PLEASE!
